WordPress has its own user accounts, separate from the JIJ client portal and cPanel.
What to do
- Open your site’s assigned administration address. The usual address is your domain followed by /wp-admin, unless it was customized.
- Use your WordPress user account. Choose its lost-password option if needed.
- If the reset email does not arrive, check the mailbox and site email delivery before requesting multiple resets.
- If a security plugin changed the login address or blocks access, contact the site administrator or JIJ with the domain and error.
Good to know
Do not edit database password fields or remove security plugins without an appropriate backup and recovery plan.
