Static hosting is intended for sites delivered as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other public assets without a server-side application or database.

What to do

  1. Use it for a brochure site, portfolio, documentation site or exported static build that fits the plan limits.
  2. Upload the generated public output, not an entire development repository with environment files or private source credentials.
  3. A browser-only form needs a separately configured service or backend to process submissions. Hiding an API key in JavaScript does not protect it.
  4. Ask JIJ about Starter, Business or a custom environment if you need WordPress, a database, server-side sessions or an application runtime.

Good to know

Static hosting does not include application development, external form subscriptions or unlimited storage.
